Three Billion Dollars: The massive volume of defence procurement transactions made since the signing of the “Abraham Accords.”

As revealed by Israeli Defence Minister Benjamin (Benny) Gantz, since the Abraham Accords signing about two years ago, defence procurement deals from Israel for the region’s Arab moderate countries have exceeded three billion dollars.

In a conversation with military reporters ahead of US President Joe Biden’s visit to Israel, Gantz said that since the signing of the agreements, no less than 150 meetings had been held between officials in the ministry of defence and the IDF with their counterparts in the Middle Eastern countries (not Jordan and Egypt).
