Director, Israel Food Industries Association
Aviv Hasbani is the Director of the Food Industries Association with around ten years of experience in the manufacturing industry, having held various roles, including Director of Emergency and Business Continuity, during the past conflicts between Israel and Hamas and during the COVID-19 crisis.
Slogan: He who worked Friday evening will eat during Shabbat – Promoting innovation and nutritional independence.
Guy Tovi
CEO and Owner, PROSOLV Technologies
Guy Tovi has B.Sc. in Food and Biotechnology Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration from the Technion. He is an expert in the optimisation of production lines and has more than 25 years of experience in the industry in a variety of positions and with in-depth knowledge of the food industry.

Prof. Ronit Endevelt
Director, Nutrition Department, Israel Ministry of Health
School of Public Health, University of Haifa
Prof. Ronit is a nutritionist specialising in public health nutrition, health promotion and nutrition services and policies. Her main research now concerns nutrition policy and health promotion and nutrition, including built environment Nudge.
 
 
Dr. Moran Blaychfeld Magnazi
Deputy Director, Nutrition Division, Israel Ministry of Health
School of Public Health, University of Haifa Dr. Moran is the deputy director of the Nutrition Division at the Israeli Ministry of Health and is in charge of national public health nutrition and nutrition in the ultra-Orthodox sector. She is a lecturer at the Peres Academic Centre’s department of Nutritional Sciences. She is pursuing post-doctoral research on the impact of the educational system on children’s eating habits at the University of Haifa.
 
 
Prof. Dan Levanon
Scientific Director, MIGAL Galilee Research Institute
Prof. Levanon earned his PhD from the faculty of Agriculture at the Hebrew University. Between 1996 and 2007, he served as the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Agriculture and rural development of the state of Israel and was responsible for policy setting and managing Israel’s agricultural and food production research.
 
Dr. Ofir Benjamin
Senior Lecturer, Tel-Hai College
Dr. Ofir Benjamin is a lecturer and researcher in the food science department at Tel-Hai College. His research expertise deals with food sensory and food structure. He actively promotes a master plan to establish the first national food innovation research institute at Tel Hai College.
Slogan: Food innovation is the key to bringing more quality food to more people around the world and facing the challenges we will face soon.
Tomer Hadad
Head of Operations, Avnon Group
Acting Director General and Board Member, Israel National Food Institute
Tomer, a senior executive and leader with vision and success in both the private and public sectors, is responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial performance of Avnon Group’s business areas. He has extensive experience handling large-scale projects within a business environment, has directed large tender committees, and has supervised numerous capital-rich operations.
 
Prof. Eyal Shimoni

Prof. Eyal Shimoni is a tech and Food-Tech expert, European 2017 “CTO of the year”, established “The Kitchen FoodTech hub”, EIT Food Accelerators Network (FAN), Israeli Food IoT - Big Data consortia, a Climate and Environment enthusiastic, former Professor at the Technion.

Prof. Nir Ohad
Director, Manna Center Program for Food Safety & Security
School of Plant Sciences and Food Security, Tel Aviv University
Prof. Nir received his PhD in Genetics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 1992 and completed his postdoctoral training at UC Berkeley. Prof. Nir has been a member of the School of Plant Sciences and Food Security at Tel Aviv University since 1997. He has been the head of the Manna Centre Program for Food Safety and Security (MCPFSS) at Tel Aviv University since 2014.
 
David Zigdon
CEO, MIGAL Galilee Research Institute
David is a senior executive with 30 years of experience in C-level positions and a strong background in the High-tech, BioMed, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, FoodTech, and AgriTech industries. He was instrumental in growing various privately-held startups and small publicly-traded companies. Before joining MIGAL in January 2019, David was the CEO and President of Rad BioMed company for about nine years.
